I am really excited to report that Time Warner Cable has been named an official sponsor of the Space Shuttle Enterprise’s 2012 arrival into New York City and its space shuttle pavilion home at the Intrepid Sea and Space Museum.
The Enterprise holds its place in history as the first of NASA’s space shuttles even though it technically has never flown to space. Today’s announcement coincides with the Enterprise’s current voyage via tow barge from JFK airport to the Intrepid, where it will be hoisted onto the flight deck today and open to the public beginning July 19th.
Here’s a cool photo I snapped on my phone. More to come.
