TWC at SXSW: Please Consider Voting For These Panels

South by Southwest Interactive is always an incredible snapshot of where digital creativity is – and where it could be going. Every time I go, I make a ton of useful contacts, learn more in a day than I usually do in a week, and usually end up eating tacos out of a truck with some guy in a green wolf mask.

I’d like to think that Time Warner Cable (or me, as Time Warner Cable), has a little experience and expertise to share, too – so this year, I’ve pitched two panels for consideration at SXSW Interactive.

The first one is a conversation between me, the guy that runs the blog here, and Phil Blum, the leader of our Online Care Team. We’ll be talking about the ways that we work together to meet customers online, get them the help they need, and share information with customers faster than ever. Here it is – check it out, vote as much as you like:

“Turning Business As Usual On its Head with Social”

On a slightly different track: my colleague Gemma Carven of Ogilvy360 and I are sick in our guts of the sense of toxic entitlement that seems to pass for mobile device etiquette. We’re going to be leading a conversation where we try to work with a crowd to come up with some reasonable do’s and don’t for mobile devices and see how far we can spread them. This promises to be a bit more raucous and interactive:

“Cram Your Mobile: New Cultural Norms for Social

So there you have it. If you’re coming, and you think you’d like to see these, do please register and vote for us at SXSW.com, and even if you’re not coming – go ahead and drop us a vote. It’s free, takes five minutes, and helps me out enormously.

Thanks!
