Let’s not kid ourselves, people: it’s after lunchtime on the Friday before a holiday, and all anybody wants to do is watch videos on their Facebook feed. I’m hoping that feeling is universal – otherwise, I have just outed myself to my bosses BIG time.
Anyway, I found this video from the always-on-point people at College Humor that PERFECTLY illustrates what we in the cable business have been saying for years: you may think that it’s easy to steal cable and HBO GO, but it’s a lot more convenient to just pay for it. I seriously couldn’t have crafted this message NEARLY as well as they did, and it’s my full-time job.
One of the reasons I couldn’t have done this as effectively is that I’m not allowed to use profanity, simulated narcotic abuse, strippers or Tony Soprano in my work. This video has all of those, and may not be safe for work, depending on your office.
If you’re easily offended, please don’t watch this. If you’re easily offended and you click anyway to watch out of a morbid fascination, please admit to yourself that you get a little thrill out of being offended and spare us your outrage. You’re not going to see anything here that isn’t on any episode of The Sopranos.
Happy Friday:
