Enjoy Sports Better: Bill Cowher is TWC’s Head Coach

Just when you thought he might be returning to coaching, Bill Cowher made a surprise strategic move  — he’s joining Team TWC.  This week, we announced the launch of our “Coach” TV campaign featuring the former NFL player and Pittsburgh Steelers coach.

From the official press release:

Today we announced the second phase of a national campaign designed to…show the benefits of switching to Time Warner Cable backed with a 30-day money back guarantee promise. Time Warner Cable is now ready to demonstrate how it got better with the help of Coach Bill Cowher – the company’s consumer advocate for its products and services.

Our new TV campaign features four spots in which Head Coach Cowher shows how TWC’s innovative products and services can kick the customer experience up a notch, like:

Headlining this campaign is a commercial featuring Cowher with three of the biggest names in sports  – Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, golfer Ian Poulter and Hendrick Motorsports driver Kasey Kahne.  In the spot, we see Coach’s finesse for refereeing skirmishes; he demonstrates that the all-stars shouldn’t fight over the remote since they can watch their favorite sports programming on any device, any time.

WHo is that “psychic” on the newest commercials? Is that B. Cowher’s son? Looks like him?
