TWC Updates WiFi Finder App, Expands to More Than 200,000 Hotspots

WiFi Finder App Main 2

For countless commuters, executives, newshounds and entertainment junkies, near-instant access to information is a 21st-century, modern-day necessity. Whether it’s calling up the latest food app in a five-star restaurant, checking work e-mail in a bustling terminal or surfing the web shore-side, consumers are upping their demand for reliable, WiFi hotspots.

As a part of our ongoing efforts to satisfy the nation’s appetite for on-the-go access, Time Warner Cable is updating its WiFi Finder app with a host of new and useful features. Available now as a free download for Android and iOS devices, the improved WiFi Finder will include a “Request a Hotspot” feature, allowing users to request a possible future hotspot in their favorite locations. In addition to improved search functionality, users will now receive notifications whenever new access is added within their area. TWC and CableWiFi hotspots will show up as quickly as they’re added, guaranteeing our customers the most up-to-date view of the WiFi landscape.
