Ever wished you could take Duck Dynasty with you on an actual duck hunt? Or watch Storage Wars from the comfort of your own personal storage locker?

Time Warner Cable recently added the A&E, History and Lifetime network apps as part of its TV Everywhere offerings. Starting today on Time Warner Cable – and next week on Bright House Networks – customers will have access to their favorite shows from these three channels at no additional cost via desktop, tablets and iOS or Android phones.

The apps enable customers to watch full episodes, movies and exclusive clips of their favorite A+E Networks programming, including current and previous seasons of Storage Wars and Duck Dynasty on A&E; Pawn Stars and Swamp People on History; and Dance Moms and Project Runway on Lifetime. Customers can simply verify their subscription by choosing “Time Warner Cable” from the list of TV providers, and logging in using their Time Warner Cable username and password. Customers who do not have a Time Warner Cable ID can easily create one at twc.com/account.

The apps also include social sharing where customers can post to Twitter and Facebook or sent emails with a direct link. Customers can download the apps for free from the App Store and Google Play.

This is great news. But we’re still waiting for access to apps like NBC Sports Live Extra, FOX Sports Go, CNN, Watch TBS, Watch TNT, Golf Channel Live Extra, Tennis Channel Everywhere, Watch ABC, FOX Now, Bravo Now, USA Network Now, Syfy Now, and Watch TCM. There’s still a long way to go before TWC customers have anywhere near the TV Everywhere experience that your competitors offer.

very nice but its been since last august that people have been writing across your forums wondering why TWC is the only major player that does not work with the NBC sports app missing out on English Premier league, NHL hockey and F1 sports not to mention the upcoming Olympics .. is there any status on it ?
