NBCUniversal Broadcast and Cable Networks Join TV Everywhere Offering

Great news. You no longer have to be docked near the set-top box to see which ingenious pair of guests Andy Cohen invites for cocktails on “Watch What Happens Live” or which novela-worthy marital disputes Dr. Ana María Polo presides over in the latest episode of “Caso Cerrado.”  You can catch NBCUniversal programming from networks like Bravo and Telemundo anywhere. Today we announced the addition of NBCUniversal’s portfolio of broadcast and cable networks to our TV Everywhere offering across multiple platforms and devices.

Authenticated Time Warner Cable and Bright House customers can soon watch live and on demand content from NBCUniversal’s suite of cable networks like Bravo, Telemundo, USA Network, Syfy, Oxygen, CNBC, MSNBC, mun2, NBC Sports Network, and Golf Channel, as well as local NBC and Telemundo owned broadcast stations. You can enjoy NBCU entertainment starting this week; NBC Sports Live Extra and Golf Live Extra services are available via apps on iOS and Android devices, as well as online.  We’ll be rolling out the remainder of NBCU cable and broadcast networks starting September.

Better late than never. We have only been asking since before last BPL and NHL season.

    Thanks for the good news.

  2. A.N.'s reply

Well, better late than never. Waited two long years for the NBC Sports Live Extra and Golf Channel apps to be useable on my iPad.

Now,… how about striking up a deal with the Time Warner / Turner family of networks? Would be nice to watch CNN, TNT, AND TBS on my mobile devices.

But still no Windows 8, Airplay, or Chromecast support…
